“Serving Those Who Serve” gives financial educators the necessary skills for providing effective financial education to public servants and members of the armed forces. Covered topics will include:
- The important financial issues which affect veterans and their families;
- Predatory lending that is targeted at service members;
- What financial resources are available for soldiers and their families.
For the first time in its history, the Annual Conference on Financial Education will feature three concurrent session tracks that will allow attendees the opportunity to customize their learning experience. Speakers from around the world will be on hand to answer questions and discuss topics in financial literacy education.
The Annual Conference on Financial Education promotes the effective delivery of consumer financial products, services and education by hosting a national event for professionals providing these services. The Conference is a showcase for financial education success stories, offering attendees proven strategies, tips and techniques to achieve intended outcomes, funding goals and program sustainability.
