The Institute for Financial Literacy established the Annual Conference on Financial Education (ACFE) to strengthen professional development and expand collaboration opportunities for financial educators. In 2007, the Institute added the Excellence In Financial Literacy Education (“EIFLE”) Awards to the Annual Conference. Not only do the EIFLE Awards recognize professional accomplishment, they serve to promote innovation and inspire financial educators to better serve their communities.
What sets the ACFE apart is the way it brings together professionals from schools, nonprofits, military programs, financial institutions, and more, all focused on practical, real-world impact. Attendees work with individuals of all ages, and the conference emphasizes sharing tested ideas, tools, and approaches they can immediately apply. It’s also a space where meaningful connections form, creating an ongoing network of professionals committed to improving financial education in their communities.
